War chant..

The war chant is modern take on the traditional 'Chant de Guerre' or a marching or battle song such as the Marseillaise.

People at schools and colleges adopt a similar tradition, such as may associated with the Florida State University, specifically its Florida State Seminoles athletic teams.

The melody is from the opening notes of Antonín Dvořák's New World Symphony. Seminole fans began the tradition of continuing the melody of the war chant after the band had stopped playing during a home football game versus Auburn University on October 13, 1984. The gesture, known as "the Tomahawk Chop," or simply "the chop," is a motion involving a repetitious bend of the arm at the elbow intended to symbolize a tomahawk swinging down. The chop was embraced by fans as an integral part of the war chant, and by the 1986 football season the war chant was one of the most widely recognized Seminole traditions.

The tradition followed Atlanta Braves baseball player, and former Seminoles football and baseball player, Deion Sanders to Atlanta where it was adopted and renamed the "tomahawk chop." Next, the NFL football team, the Kansas City Chiefs adopted it after hearing the Northwest Missouri State marching band perform the war chant while the Chiefs players were warming up for a game against the San Diego Chargers. The music would later be used by local grocery chain Price Chopper as part of its "Chiefs 'n' Chopper" ad campaign, and fans would also chant the slogan during the song. In recent years, the Braves have played a clip of the Florida State Marching Chiefs' playing the chant song during games.

The University of Illinois, also has a cheer called the "War Chant." However, Illinois' War Chant is different in that it does not involve the same gesture or melody used by Florida State and the Atlanta Braves. The Illini's version involves a faster paced version of the song with a slightly different melody, and clapping above one's head to every drum beat.

Sydney FC's The Cove also do the Chop. It was started spontaneously during a match when the Cove drummer start the drum beat and fellow Cove members quickly caught on with the chant.

The "Tomahawk Chop" even made its way to Europe as it was frequently used by the Berlin Thunder before the demise of the NFL Europe league.

actually that time, i have no voice since i've been sick about a week...

therefore, the result of the karaoke, i lost my voice again....

about a only a month get to know sharul hafizi, i must said that he is funniest person i ever meet... ngee... if you talk with him and not laugh, it must something wrong happened with you...
now he i think he maybe at home or at UITM shah alam further his study in degree... good luck sharul...ganbatte ne!!!!

Wan Malinja visit...

On last Friday, me, azreen, zati, ayin wan and jimmy went to wan malinja because we accompany jimmy and azreen to their project video location. we went with jimmy's car...that blue car... the funny thing about this short trip is we all so heavy or not (don't wanna remember this) but the i felt that the car is not stable enough to carry six of us...ngeee...also want mention here, that day, possibility that the driver is not taking shower is high...wahaha

A day of waitress.....

On 21June2009, me, maru' azreen and ayin work as waitress at UTHM...we get RM 25 each suppose...but then after all the event finish, they add e RM30...heheheh....it is good experience since i like doing part time job and find extra money...hehehe....the catering is from beriani power, it is tiring but looking at people face giving food to each, it cannot say with word, i am so happy....hehehe, furthermore when they give lunch to us, wow,,, i like to eat... lucky me...my face also become like ball...uwaaaa...but it is OK if i still manage to take care of it...hua hua hua
